I know this story well, and even researched it. It was told by Helen Roseavre, and as amazing as it is it pales in comparison to other things that happened to her, and how God used her, during the Congo rebellion back in the 60s. It is true. "Before they call, I will answer." God has sent me renewed strength and confidence that He will continue to work through me, yesterday. I read this prayer today. Amen.

I heard Helen speak while a student
at Covenant College in the 70's.
This once again touched my heart.

This is a beautiful story. I'm an intercessor at my church. Lately, the enemy has been attacking the church and keeping the members away. God's word is going forth as powerful as ever. I felt God leading me and another member to intense prayer on behalf of the church. So, this past Saturday, we met at the church and interceeded like never before. We took authority over every attack of the enemy. The next day, we saw answered prayers. We had 10 additional people who had come and also some members returned. It was beautiful. I was so overcome with emotion, I could barely sing. God is truly in control of every situation and delights in answering our prayer.
